The 2025-2026 FAFSA form became available to complete online at StudentAid.gov in December 2024. UTA’s 2025-2026 priority date was March 1, 2025. UTA began receiving completed 2025-26 FAFSA forms in January 2025. Once our office receives your completed form, we will notify you with next steps via your UTA email address.
The Blaze Forward Program makes it even easier for eligible students to get a world-class education here at UTA!
Using a combination of grants, tuition waiver and scholarships, the Blaze Forward Program provides students meeting all eligibility requirements with funding that will cover 100% of their tuition and course fees for fall 2025 and spring 2026 semesters. The Blaze Forward Program does not cover other expenses including but not limited to housing, meals, and textbooks.
The deadline to be considered for the 2025-26 aid year was March 1, 2025. The deadline to be considered for the 2024-25 aid year was May 31, 2024.

After completing your FAFSA form, you will be notified via your UTA email account once your FAFSA has been received as well as if any documents are required to complete your financial aid file.

March 1, 20251: Priority Date for the 2025-2026 Aid Year (Summer 2025, Fall 2025, and Spring 2026), the deadline for the 2025-26 Blaze Forward program, and the deadline to apply for all 2025-26 merit-based scholarships for incoming freshman and transfer students.
May 1, 2025: Deadline to accept 2025-26 merit-based scholarship offers for incoming freshman and transfers students.
May 23, 2025: Earliest disbursement date for the Summer 2025 semester, including Maymester.
August 8, 2025: Earliest disbursement date for the Fall 2025 semester.
1To be considered for maximum grant funding for the 2025-2026 aid year, a student must have been admitted to UTA by March 1, 2025, and all financial aid forms, including the 2025-2026 FAFSA form must have been received by the Office of Financial Aid by March 1, 2025.
